Delete your Custody Cue account or data
Last updated: July 6, 2026
How to request deletion
- Email dsdevelopment95@gmail.com from the same email address you use to sign in to Custody Cue.
- Tell us what you'd like deleted - your whole account, or just specific data (see below). If you're on more than one household in the app, say which one(s).
- If you're signed in, you can also send this same request from the app's Support tab.
We'll act on your request within 30 days, and confirm by email once it's done.
What gets deleted
When you request your account be deleted, we remove:
- Your account itself (name, email, sign-in credentials).
- Your device's push-notification token and notification preferences.
- Your access to every household you were part of.
What stays (and why)
Custody Cue's calendar and schedule are shared with other people in your household (a co-parent, step-parent, or invited viewer). Because of that:
- Events, notes, and parenting-time blocks you created remain visible to the other people in that household who still use the app - deleting your account doesn't erase their shared calendar out from under them.
- A child's name and date of birth remain, since they belong to the household, not to any one account.
If you'd rather we remove specific entries you created (an event, a note, etc.) instead of your whole account, tell us which ones in your request - see "Requesting partial deletion" below.
Requesting partial deletion (without deleting your whole account)
You don't have to delete your entire account to have specific data removed. Use the same email address or the in-app Support tab, and describe what you'd like removed - for example, a specific event, a note's contents, or your notification history. We'll remove what we can while leaving the rest of your account and household intact.
